Regent Launches New World Cruise in 2027

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is setting sail on an around-the-world cruise onboard one of its newest, ultra-luxurious ships, the Seven Seas Splendor. “This will be the first time a World Cruise will sail on board one of our magnificent Explorer-Class ships, Seven Seas Splendor,” says Andrea DeMarco, President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
It “was launched in 2020 and offers the highest standards of unrivaled luxury, and featuring the one-of-a-kind, 4,443 square foot Regent Suite.” The cruise goes on sale April 10, 2024.

The “World of Splendor” cruise will set sail from Miami, Florida on January 11,2027, traveling to 71 ports before returning to New York. Guests will visit the Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Africa, and Europe for a total of more than 35,000 nautical miles.
The cruise covers 40 countries across six continents and will feature 14 overnight port stays in Tahiti, French Polynesia, Sydney, Australia, Colombo, Sri Lanka, Luxor (Safaga), Egypt, Aqaba, Jordan, and Jerusalem (Haifa), among others. Overnight stays in port allow guests to explore deeper and explore more of the area.
Included in the stops are 73 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Coiba National Park in Panama City, Panama, Kakadu National Park in Darwin, Australia, Singapore Botanic Gardens in Singapore, Elephanta Caves in Mumbai, India, and Palmeral of Elche in Alicante, Spain.
What’s Included in the Cost
Rooms onboard the 2027 World of Splendor cruise begin at $91,499 and go up to a record-breaking 839,999 per guest. Travelers not wanting to go on the entire journey can take a shorter, 126-night cruise by boarding in Miami and disembarking in Rome, Italy. That trip costs from $84,999 to $755,999 per guest.
The cost covers the entire cruise, first-class airfare to Miami, a one-night stay in a luxury Miami hotel before the cruise, plus a pre-cruise gala. The price also includes valet laundry, unlimited WiFi, ground transfers, specialty dining, and premium drinks, including wine and liquor.
An amenity that sets Regent Seven Seas Cruises apart from other cruise lines is offering free shore excursions at most of its ports. The 2027 World of Splendor cruise will offer 486 complimentary shore excursions. Additional shore excursion and some specialty restaurants are available at an extra charge.
Also included in the price are exclusive events at several of the shi’s’ stops. These include live entertainment and authentic Panamanian food in Panama City, a Sri Lankan Street Festival in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and a 20s inspired show in Malaga, Spain.
About the Ship
The Seven Seas Splendor is one of three Explorer Class ships at Regent. It features 373 suites, more than its other world cruise ships. Regent designed the ship with luxury in mind. “We have seen continued interest and demand to venture further afield and for longer durations and so we are thrilled to announce that our 2027 World Cruise will take place on board Seven Seas Splendor, offering more luxury travelers the opportunity to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience” said DeMarco. Each room comes with a spacious balcony.
The suites range from 307 square feet to the opulent 4,443 square-foot Regent Suite. Located on the 14th deck, the Regent Suite is one of the largest suites on board a luxury cruise ship.
The 1,300-square-foot wraparound deck offers an unobstructed view of the front of the ship. Regent describes the Regent Suite as “the most luxurious address at sea.” The suite offers a butler, personal car and driver in every port, plus a personal sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi.
The ship holds a maximum of 746 guests and 548 crew members. “With one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in the industry, discerning adventurers are promised an intimate exploration of the globe while enjoying the most luxurious on-board amenities and experiences found in the cruise industry,” explains Regent.
The Seven Seas Splendor features a five-million dollar art collection throughout the ship and its suites. It will also carry 13,000 pounds of lobster, 14,000 pounds of filet mignon, and 150 pounds of caviar for guests to enjoy. It also includes 58,000 bottles of wine, including 14,000 bottles of champagne.
For the visual traveler, it hosts “over 500 crystal chandeliers, hundreds of impeccable flower arrangements and over an acre of stunning Italian marble emphasize the ship’s sophistication,” explains Regent.
Guests can explore their creativity by taking one of the hands-on cooking classes taught by master chefs or relax in the Serene Spa and Wellness center, created and designed specifically for Regent Seven Star Cruises.
